Another reason for proud to be an indian ! Email was actually invented 32 years ago by a 14 YEARS BOY ( woow!) which was an INDIAN !!! His name is VA Shiva Ayyadurai.
Email completed its 32 years on 15th July and very few of us know that it is an INDIAN INVENTION ! He was from Tamil Family in Bombay and had left to US where he invented email only at the age of 14 !
On August 30, 1982, the US government officially recognized Ayyadurai as the inventor of email by awarding him the first US Copyright for Email for his 1978 invention. Yet his name is nowhere in modern history of computer science!!!
